1. What is the difference between the hostel and hotel section?
   At King’s Inn, we have both a hostel and a hotel. In the hostel, you can stay in a shared dormitory, ideal for backpackers, groups, or budget travelers. The hotel section offers private rooms, ranging from standard double rooms to luxury suites. So there’s an option for every budget!

2. What time can I check in and out?
   You can check in between 15:00 and 21:00. If you’re arriving later, just let us know, and we’ll arrange a late check-in. Check-out is until 11:00 so we can prepare the rooms for the next guests. Want to stay longer? Feel free to ask about late check-out options!

3. Is breakfast always included in my stay?
   Breakfast is not included by default, but it can easily be added. In our brasserie, we serve a delicious breakfast with fresh rolls, toppings, an egg, fruit, juice, and coffee or tea. You can reserve it in advance or add it upon arrival! Even if you’re not staying with us, you can still enjoy breakfast at our place.

4. Can I safely store my bike?
   Absolutely! We have a secure bike storage area where you can park your bike safely. Perfect for cyclists and bikepackers who want to explore Alkmaar and the surrounding area.

5. Is there parking at King’s Inn?
   We don’t have our own parking lot, but there are plenty of parking options nearby. The Karperton parking garage is just 100 meters away and offers an affordable daily rate. We can even provide an exit card for €12.50, so you can park at a reduced rate.

6. Are pets allowed?
   As much as we love animals, unfortunately, pets are not allowed at King’s Inn. This ensures that all our guests, including those with allergies, have a comfortable stay.

7. What is there to do around King’s Inn?
   King’s Inn is located in the heart of the historic center of Alkmaar, a city full of exciting activities! Visit the famous Cheese Market, explore the charming shopping streets, rent a boat to cruise through the canals, or discover the beautiful dunes and beach area just 30 minutes by bike. Feel free to ask us for recommendations or a map!

8. Can I stay with a group?
   Absolutely! We have dormitories and private rooms for groups of all sizes. Whether it’s a school trip, team outing, or friends’ weekend, we’re happy to help plan your stay and arrange extras like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Contact us for a group booking!

9. Can I rent the bar or brasserie for an event?
   Yes, you can! Our bar and brasserie are available for birthdays, corporate events, and other occasions. We can organize a drink, dinner, or a full party tailored to your wishes. Interested? Contact us, and we’ll discuss the options!
